/slashbot Privacy Policy

Account basics — Your Telegram username, user ID, and language preference. We store "Shibuya" not "35.6580, 139.7016".

Search queries — Category (food/drinks/coffee), area name, and approximate location. Used to find deals near you. Location coordinates are used transiently and the area name is what we store long-term.

Clicks and votes — Which deals you tap and vote for, so we can improve ranking.

GPS location — When you accept an IRL task, your device location is used to verify you visited the venue. Stored with the submission.

Photos — Photos you submit for task verification are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for automated analysis (e.g. confirming a venue is open, reading posted hours). Photos are referenced by Telegram file ID and are not published or shared publicly. AI-generated verification notes are stored with your submission.

Trust score — A score (0.0 to 1.0) based on your submission history. Affects task availability and cashout eligibility. View your tier anytime with /stars.

Star balance — Stars earned from verified actions (IRL tasks, affiliate bookings) are tracked in your wallet. Stars are digital credits within /slashbot, not currency.

Flight data — If you use /arrive with a flight number, we query AirLabs for flight status. Your flight is tracked temporarily (up to 48h) for push notifications (gate, boarding, landing).

Hotel name — If you save a hotel, the name and local-script address are stored with your account. Viewable and deletable via /hotel.

Nationality — Optional. Used to show your embassy contact and exchange rate in ready packs. Not shared.

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Powers deal search (web search), IRL photo verification (Claude Vision), and ready pack generation. Your search area and photos are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Google Places API — Venue lookup, walking distances, place resolution. Your coordinates are sent to Google. Google Privacy Policy
• AirLabs API — Flight status data only. No personal data is sent.
• Frankfurter API — Exchange rates only. No personal data is sent.

Search query metadata is retained indefinitely for analytics. IRL submission data (GPS, photo references, AI notes) is retained while your account is active. Flight tracking data is deleted after 48 hours. Heartbeat/system data is excluded from user-facing analytics.

You can request deletion of your data by contacting us via /feedback in the bot or messaging @UseSlashbot. We will delete your data without undue delay.

You can view your trust score tier via /stars and your territory via /status at any time.
